The energy efficient community chula is a national award winning innovation from NIF, GOI, developed by a grass root innovator Mr. Jayaprakash with a thermal efficiency of 29-35% as against 17% in ordinary smokeless community Chula.
CORE team introduced Energy efficient Chula to the schools to reduce the expense for mid-day meals in the school for fuel, labour and transportation. We supported the innovator for Technical drawings, Efficiency testing and popularization through projects.
